I am still pretty new and finding new features and ways to do things daily. But I can't seem to find a place here on the forums to mark a forum "read".
Sometimes I don't want to follow a thread all the way or want to see when someone posts to it. But if I don't then it still shows as "new" post for me. (unless I am doing something wrong somewhere).
Unlike some other forums there is not a mark as read button here. When you click on a thread it is not suppose to be highlighted next time you visit unless there is new material. I have found that it works about 40% of the time. That is even with keeping my cache cleared.
Thank you for the response. I am glad I am not blind! I just have never used a forum where there was not a "mark as read" button so was sure I was just missing it.
As you said I have found that the system doesn't work properly a large portion of the time and frequently forums and messages show as "new" when infact they aren't.
Would it be possible for a moderator to see if it is possible to turn on a "mark as read" function? Thank you for your consideration!
