Why is it that I cannot elect to have a Variable Priced shipping INCLUDE insurance?

That option is not availalbe. I can include Shipping Insurance if I select a fixed price for shipping...but not if I elect to charge a variable fee based on the customers location...

Am I missing something here?

When I go to the lister page, to the shipping section and click on calculated shipping, the shipping insurance section is still there with the drop down for Required, Optional, etc...

Is it because you can't enter the shipping insurance amount like you can with fixed rate shipping? When using calculated shipping the shipping insurance essentially becomes calculated as well. Once the item is purchased and the shipping is figured out, the shipping insurance will be figured out as well.

Yes, I see that if I choose Calculated Shipping that option for Auctiva Shipping Insurance still has a drop down...

The issue I have though is that all I can see in the drop down are: Required, Optional, and Not Offered.

Where is the "INCLUDED in S/H"???

That's what I'm looking for...

If I choose a fixed price for Shipping, I can say in my auction that Insurance is INCLDUDED... But it looks like if I pick Calculated Shipping there is no option in the drop down for INCLUDED.

That's what I need help with...

Cara, So what you are saying is that:

When using Fixed Rate shipping, this is when you can include insurance costs in your S&H.

When using Calculated shipping rate , you should not include a cost for insurance in the S&H as the system will automatically add/calculate insurance costs. In other words, this would effectively charge a buyer twice for shipping insurance.

When I expand the Shipping Tools, I have Flat Rate Shipping selected. Below that, there's an option to Include Insurance in S&H, which is exactly how mine's set up and it works great. Try that and if it doesn't work, please let us know here?
