Today, I had my last 3 listings post to Ebay, they ended up with NO description text, just pictures. (when I checked the SAVED listing in Auctiva, there was no description there, either, but it was there when I posted)

ALSO, lately, I have gotten 'frozen up' MANY TIMES, while creating a listing, I have to open a new window, paste what I've already done from the other window, then when I try to choose a new template, or delete & choose new pics, freezes up again, open ANOTHER window, paste again, re-add the pics, etc (sometimes open new windows THREE times, just to post ONE listing)......

Anyone else having these problems ???

Are you by any chance on dial-up?

I hate to say it but the typical first advice is to clear your cache and history. The second bit is to try a new browser. If you're using IE, you might try Firefox (works great for me).

And let us know how it goes.

My husband says he clear our temp files & history quite often & it's set pretty high anyways. WE are on Internet Explorer, he says he's not interested in getting a new one, we've never had a problem before, this is relatively new problem for me & only with Auctiva when I'm listing.
I figure it has something to do with all the new windows I have to open, to start over, because it keeps freezing up in the middle of editing to post a new listing. I open new window, go to Auctiva, open up listing to edit, paste what I've done so far, get pictures again (either download or just grab if already downloaded on previous window's effort), & so on.....takes a LOOOONG time just to post one thing lately......
Are you guys doing upgrades or something,
am I the only one having this problem with the FREEZING UP while working on a listing ??

have you run spyware scans lately?

Are you on dial-up? What operating system are you using? (Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.)

And if you don't try manually clearing your cache you'll never know.. Just make sure if you try it that you only have one browser window open. Rebooting might help as well.

we're on cable modem, we clear our cache regularly, it's still doing it, I just tried listing something using a newly created master profile, it had a description, which I edited, I tried to delete old pics & add new pic, it froze up (wouldn't post, just sat there), I opened Auctiva on new window, pasted what I'd already typed in description, uploaded picture, & POSTED (this time it posted)------>
when I pull it back up, NO DESCRIPTION, on Auctiva listing OR on ebay listing.....
VERY FRUSTRATING.....
(this has only been happening for a couple days, the descriptions dissappearing)
It seems to have more to do with the 'freezing up', which is happening more now than before....
HELP !!

oh & now when I do finally get them to list, sometimes with descriptions, the text is all mixed up & moved around, sizes changed, all of them underlined (instead of just one word or group of words), colors changed,
what is up ???

I hate the plain ugly 1-picture listings with Ebay, but I can't stand this anymore, I'm not getting ANYTHING done like this......
