I thought Auctiva was 100% free. Then why was I charged $40 in month of January?

Why don't you take it up with Auctiva directly , all the Auctiva.com tools on the blue/green pages are free.

Sellathon charges after the first 30 days but that is a separate login.

eBud and Auctiva poster I think are separate chargeable items with separate login.

Somewhere along the line you must have supplied payment details so surely it does not come as any surprise.

So what is the product you have been using ?

Firstly - I suppose they got my payment information from the Paypal and eBay accounts they have on file. Honestly I have NO idea what it is for. The only thing I'm using on Auctiva is the scrolling lister and the store listings that I know of. Actually I haven't logged into Auctiva since November - and never had any charges in Oct, Nov or Dec. There's absolutely no detail as to what the charge is for - and as far as I know - I've never received any kind of receipt. It could be a bogus charge I suppose that's not Auctiva at all...but the payee is sales@auctiva.com.


Secondly - I guess I would take it up with Auctiva if I knew how and they weren't so secretive about how to contact customer support. Their contact details and phone message state they don't return support phone calls. Essentially - don't call us.

- So I'm wondering what gives with these folks. IMHO others should be aware of an issue - therfore the post. I have a business too but I'm not going around telling my customers not to contact me.

BTW - It was a $40 PayPal charge and I did file a dispute so I guess I will find out eventually.

Do you use Auction Sniper? Did you make a payment through Paypal to use it? Auctiva owns it.

Found sell-a-thon - I've never been there. I'm truly stumped.

My account details tell me absolutely nothing that I can see.

Don't know what that is either - so if I am I don't know about it.

That's interesting - what else do they own? That might be a good lead. I have tried other stuff and programs to assist with our accounting.

OK - Found a Paypal receipt - it says Order Description: Auctiva.com-Auto

I don't know about anything else they own. I just remember getting confused the first time I paid Auctiva to use Auction Sniper. Someone might have gotten into your Paypal account and used Auctiva as a dummy name to divert suspicion. Change up all of your passwords and have them investigate the recipient of the payment. Submit a support ticket, they're usually fast at replying.
