Hello All! Sorry, this is probably a dumb question, but I see how so many of you include all or part of the text in a thread into your reply. I can copy and paste but don't get the white lines above and below the text.
I just copy whatever text I want to use and when I click the Reply button it automatically shows up there...but I know there's another way to do it by using the little 'reply with quote' icon on the bottom right of the post. I've never used that one tho

Just click the little folder/quote icon that's in the bottom right corner of the post that you would like to quote. This one --->
It will automatically format the text so that it shows up in a "quote box", like so:

If you want to only quote a small piece of the post, and not the whole thing, just delete the parts that you don't want before posting, but make sure you leave the bracketed "QUOTE" and "/QUOTE" parts intact, like so:
