I remember reading awhile back a question regarding Auctiva stores and eBay stores. Can you have an Auctive store without eBay? Or is everything dependent on eBay. Sorry if this questions sounds like a broken record, I don't have time to scan looking for the answer.

If you don't have time to scan, I don't have time for a long answer!
Short answer! NO! Did you even read this thread before posting?

We do plan on having stand-alone Auctiva Stores with shopping carts etc. for you to make off-eBay sales.

All you oldies know what stinky stuff your talking about. Perhaps enlighten some of us semi-newbies so that we keep our stinky stuff where it belongs.

At a minimum I'd say something like 1 penny per month per item would be enough to keep the stinky items out.

My above question was in reference to Auctiva Jeff's comment. I'm only curious so that I am not guilty of listing "stinky stuff". Are we talking dollar value or something else?

Re stinky, I think he is referring to anything that will not sell regardless of exposure duration due to being rubbish, grossly overpriced, or very poorly presented, e.g. it sits and rots and clutters the place up, phewww !

Thank you for that. One thing I sell a lot of is books. I read them, then this is how I get rid of them. But some of them aren't worth much more than about 99 cents US. I have seen a lot of complaining posts on this site re: sellers that sell things for that price, so I was wondering if that was what 'stinky' alluded to. Meaning, price rather than product.

I do the same with magazines and the like, they sell fine and I don't see greedbay complaining, if greedbay don't like anything or it's too popular they stick up the fees Mad

Then you may want to read the link posted by Rock Bottom about new media fees. Smile
