Paypal froze my account soo many times that I had to stop using it alltogeather in fact my account is still frozen and they wont tell me why or what to do to unfreaze it.Understand i sell 100k a
month so this is a big deal , i learned along time ago to get the money out and into a non-linked account , so luckily they dont have any of my money , but I have learned to sell through auctiva checkout with a merchant account and it is a very good and very safe way to sell on ebay without paypal. I still am able to do 100 k with two different user ids and i am safe from an account freeze, which renders it impossible to take payments while your listings are still running and customers are yelling at you. Thanks auctiva.

So how does anyone now sell on ebay without using Paypal, as I cannot see a way to list without that option. I use a variety of money agents without any problems, only ever had issues with paypal, giving a part refund twice so they paid nothing for the goods at all. (not on ebay)
Thought it should be the sellers right to chose how to get paid. With paypal its so integrated, when a buyer wins an auction it provides a 'pay now' option & it avoids showing the buyers anything from the sellers original listing about payment methods.
You cannot add a fee for paypal, neither offer any benefit (as you do with invoices in business) for other methods. We dont accept cash as such, but have nothing against payments to bank account thats seen now same day. The attitude seems to be pushing that ALL other methods used by the seller are potentially fraudulant, yet its just as possible the buyers can be too!
Finally while this has provoked me to comment, how about a one sided feedback system, no negs from sellers, so should we bother unless its a good & sensible buyer.

expect these two issues will just carry on, but ebay/paypal are just too big to be worried.
For my point we will continue to use the auctions here & there alongside other auction sites and of course our own online shop.
