Looks like eBay is well on their way to creating their Amazon-like shopping site using the big sellers to do all the work.
This is just another step in the process of squeezing out the little sellers in favor of the mega-sellers. It's only a matter of time until us little guys will be gone.

To be honest - one of the main reasons I am still trading on eBay is that I use my about me page to promote my site which is a promotional site for charities. Oh well - I guess I'll save the money I spend on eBay and promote my favourite charities some place else.
ARE YOU DOING IT?

WOW! It seems every month eBay is making a change. Not all good for sellers either. Not being able to link to other sites is a big hit for me. I mean I used my about me page to get subscribers to my mailing list. Now I will need to update my about me page to focus primarily on my existing auctions. I feel bad for the people who have spent mucho money to get an about me template which promotes their outside eBay sites. They may need to redesign their entire about me page. I guess eBay no longer wants to lose out on outside sales. They want everything to be internal. I have been lucky that I actually sell items on eBay. I'm sure there are eBay sellers who will find some loophole to be able to promote their outside sites. Let's wait and see what eBay will pull next month.
