I love this survey! Just another eBay spin.
Look at the facts:
64% ofthe online businesses polled feel confident about the immediate business outlook.
54% believe revenue will increase.
51% expect exxchange rates to limit business growth.
78% say they plan to expand or diverisfy-- an indication that sellers are investing for long term growth OR simply ready to move beyond eBay.
You see the facts, when not spun by eBay? 78% are siply ready to move beyond eBay. eBay would have us believe they expect their eBay business to increase. But, thats not what the numbers say. And, btw, how are the sellers going to set up for long term e-comerce? Set up their own websites, move to other venues, ie, move beyond eBay. eBay is meaningless thanks to the moves of last year.
