Tech support, get going here. They're dropping like flies and it has nothing to do with anybody's browers. Some dropped and then reappeared when tech looked in, now they're gone again. It has to be Auctiva because when I look in My Images here, they're all gone.

On Ebay, the images only show up in the gallery. When you click on the listing itself, all the pix are gone.

Yeah, this is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I've got 77 glass art auctions ending tonight and no one is going to bid on what they can't see!!!

If Auctiva doesn't get this resolved soon, this issue is literally going to cost me HUNDREDS (and some people thousands) of dollars and I don't know what EBay would do with a situation like this since Auctiva is not affiliated with them.

Sunday is my auction closing and listing night and I just do NOT need this right now.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get this fixed ASAP or there will be a lot of people who will NEVER use Auctiva again!!!!!!!!

Im having this problem too - very frustrating! Sunday is my main listing day and I have tonnes to list this afternoon and tonight - any images i try to upload have failed and the ones I have already posted to ebay have vanished - I dont know whether to cry or have a huge hernia!!!!

Im getting pretty fed up with the unreliability of Auctivas image hosting services of late - a few weeks ago I resized all my images so they would comply and now it is failing again.

Please sort this out soon Auctiva - your British users are losing alot of time and money over these failures - Sunday is a prime listing day!

CAN YOU HEAR US AUCTIVA SUPPORT???
Just spent 2 hours taking pictures to REPLACE the images that are no longer in Ebay gallery to find out they will not upload (they're not big files...that's not it) and when I look in my Managed images, ALL ARE RED X's.
I'm loosing 100's of dollars and can't do this anymore. Is there another good site like Auctiva anywhere?
Auctiva support say they do not delete pictures so it must be me. I don't THINK so!!!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the reply I got from support:

I am sincerely sorry that you have had this experience. We have had a technical issue with our image servers that took place in the last half an hour but we haven’t identified the cause yet. Our engineering department has been called in from their days off and is working on the problem right now.

In Auctiva's defense, it's a great service for FREE. This is the first issue that's effected me in at least 6 months. For those that say they are losing money, etc... how does that amount compare to what you would have spent on Vendio each month? Free services have their tradeoffs. I don't think anyone has the right to complain too much.

In the meantime, if you don't have 1000s of auction, why not upload at least 1 pic for free though ebay? That way you'll have something visible in case this problem takes awhile to resolve.

You are so right! We don't have a right to beat you guys us like we are. We're just frustrated and REACT without thinking what you guys offer us for FREE. Thanks so much and I feel 1 inch tall for attacking. We are so sorry that your engineering dept has to come in on their day off.

Again.... I'm very very sorry for being such a pain. I need to learn some patience and that it's not a perfect world. Smile

Hold on a second. Sure, it is FREE but that is only because THEY MAKE MONEY by selling shipping insurance. Auctiva is a business and isn't doing this for kicks, but to MAKE MONEY.

They should realize that Sunday is a HUGE day for auctions closing and being listed and the engineers that they had to "call in on their day off" should already be on duty JUST IN CASE anything like this were to ever happen.

I would GLADLY pay to use Auctiva as long as they were accountable when things go wrong like this because it would ensure that they would be trying as hard as possible to prevent things like this from happening.

Just to chime in and say ME TOO... No images in any auctions today nor do I have any in Auctiva photo gallery. Everything Wiped out! I too have expensive auctions ending today and you are right... they won't bid on what they can't see and probably think I'm an idiot for listing auctions with no photos. I pray it's fixed soon or I'm going to be up a creek without a paddle!

Because Sunday is the biggest auction ending day of the week, and for those of us who this affects most greatly, our auctions are ending in 12 hours or less. When we get 50-80% of our bids. You cannot revise an auction in ebay that ends in 12 hours or less.
