For the past few weeks when I go to revise something in a store listing that's been in there for a while, all of a sudden the gallery pictures are gone and all that's there is the trash can symbol!!! I didn't remove the pictures, but this is happening over and over again, now as many as 20 of my pictures are gone and appear to have been trashed. Anyone else having this problem??? I've gone back to using photo manager on eBay at least until I see this fixed. This causes a Lot more work. When it first happened I wrote to Auctiva about it and was told to just upload all the images yet again...I don't think so.

This has also been happening to me for a few weeks now. Why are they disappearing? Images are gone when I look at my saved images, but luckly I saved my original listing and was able to edit and save the image from there. But then I have to relist. This used to only happen once in awhile, but I noticed that it's happening more frequently lately.

I'll stretch and suggest it may be due to using GTC on Store Inventory and the renewals aren't getting the pics for gallery loaded. That's a guess, but eBay has been tinkering with who and how pics are stored for the Gallery and Header.

There is a simple way to "Refresh" the Gallery image that eBay has added to it's tools. Locate the "Change Your Item's Gallery Image" in the center column on the eBay Site Map page. That procedure can be used to replace or refesh a Gallery Image. Just make sure your Header and Gallery image have same link back to Auctiva, as that policy change back in February seems to have been the point where many of these problems started.

Before Feb, I usually did have a different image for my header than my gallery. But refreshing the image will not do the trick if the image is gone from Auctiva. I still have to either resave the image from the original posting or import it back to Auctiva from my archive.

Does eBay have the rights to delete images from Auctiva? Weird....

So when you look in your images saved in Auctiva, the image itself is gone from there?

I'm not sure who you were directing this question to, but if you are asking me the answer is sometimes. If they are still in my saved images then I can edit and save the original and it will show back up. If they are gone completely then I have to import the image into ebay and fix it there. I have run into both instances. I still can't find any rhyme or reason for why this is happening.

I have been dealing with this for a couple months myself too. I have talked to a tech several times & they just couldnt figure out what the problem was. I dont know if they ever did. Now I cant load ANY pics!

Really getting frustrated...In Auctiva images, tons of photos say they are not being used in any listings, but if you go to the listing itself the picture is there. In other cases, it is not there and there is just a box. What is going on? The time I should be spending listing new items, I am going to have to spend fixing the pictures on old listings.

I am too frustrated. Especially since no one from Auctiva is addressing the images issues so many seem to be having. I realize it is a free site and service they are providing, however I use them for all insurance and have at least 100 customers a week using there insurance. A update would be great Auctiva please. All my unsold listings from the last three week have lost there images.
