I am sincerely sorry that you have had this experience. We have had a technical issue with our image servers that took place in the last half an hour but we haven’t identified the cause yet. Our engineering department has been called in from their days off and is working on the problem right now.
This is the message I received when I went to file a support ticket:
We are currently aware of an issue that is causing many attempts to upload images that are larger than 1 MB in size to result in "Failed" messages. We are going to be replacing the current images uploader on our site with new ones that will support larger file sizes over the next week or two but, until then, you will need to make sure the images you are uploading into Auctiva are smaller than 1 MB in order to upload them successfully.
You can check the size of a given image file by right-clicking on that image file and selecting the "Properties" option. If you find that they are larger than 1 MB, you will have to resize them to less than 1 MB before you will be able to upload them successfully. If you are using a digital camera to take your photos, I recommend reducing the resolution in your digital camera picture configuration.
If you find that the images you are trying to upload are larger than 1 MB and you are still unable to upload them, please let us know by filing a support request.Images Missing from Accounts/Listings – Hide Solution We are currently experiencing a technical problem that is causing Auctiva hosted images not to show up in accounts and listings. Our technical team is aware of this issue and will have it resolved as soon as possible. There is no need to file a support case about this issue at present.

If our previous pictures were larger the 1MB will they also be restored? I was trying to upload pictures and having same problem as everyone else and all pictures in my e-bay listings are also gone. Will these be automatically restored? I have over 200 items listed that I don't want to have to end or modify to get the pictures back in them

I dunno, but what are we going to do about the money we are going to lose? I can't add a picture to eBay because my auction ends within a few hours and they won't let me revise. UGGGH! This Sucks!

My pictures vanished today. I have just finished revising through ebay and adding photo's that way. I suggest you do the same if your listings have more than 12 hours left.
my pictures are gone to so far two are done no bids another comming up with watcher butI have little hope of selling today.This has been a terrible day.
ALL of my pictures are completely gone from all my listings & from my auctiva images folders too. This royally sucks and what about our fees? I understand stuff happens, but explain that to our buyers/watchers or even Ebay. Ebay will just say "Load them through Ebay"...charging you per picture. No-win situation when you already had them in your listing to begin with. So much for selling today. Dang this suks!!!!!
