I'm really having troubles with the clarity of my images. What is the "ideal" size?

Thanks.

Hello Rupa,
I'm no expert but from all I've read here it sounds like 400x300 is optimum. See my post about image resizing.

You cannot be anything if you want to be everything.

Hi Phoebe,

That's what I've been resizing them to before I upload them. They look fine on my computer but on my listings they just don't look sharp enough and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Hi Rupa

whatever size picture you take Auctiva resizes on upload to 1024 x 768. Then when you post a listing from Auctiva to ebay it resizes the picture again to 400 x 300 for the listing but the bigger picture is still available to potential buyers if they click
quote:
.

My pictures aren't as pretty as yours but have a look here and see what the supersized image looks like

I take my ebay pics at the lowest setting on my camera ie 0.5 megapixels

Regards

Ah.....I see, so I can put on whatever size I want and they will automatically be resized. Ok, well next time I'll just leave them "as is" and see if I get a better result.....actually, I may try one right now. Thanks Moriarty!
