Hello Rupa, I'm no expert but from all I've read here it sounds like 400x300 is optimum. See my post about image resizing.
You cannot be anything if you want to be everything.

Hi Rupa whatever size picture you take Auctiva resizes on upload to 1024 x 768. Then when you post a listing from Auctiva to ebay it resizes the picture again to 400 x 300 for the listing but the bigger picture is still available to potential buyers if they click quote: click to view supersized image
