I upload pics to Auctiva that sometimes need to be rotated...I had to take the pic long-ways, etc.
One they are uploaded and I am in the screen to make the listing (via profile, if that has any bearing) I usually upload the photo to the gallery spot first, edit/rotate it there first, preview it, and if it seems ok, save it and move on to put that same photo in the auction itself.
Problem is, when I get to that last part, the photo is ALWAYS back on its side - the 'longways' way the picture was originally taken and uploaded. No matter how many times I removed the photo from the gallery spot and re-insert/re-rotate&save it so it is normal, I always get the same sideways pic in the auction itself! Even in the auction preview!
What gives? Am I missing something here?
Also, when I center text/pics in my listings with the toolbar, it almost NEVER stays - not in preview, not when I upload it to eBay...it always snaps back to left-justification for some reason...any ideas on this?
I too have been experiencing the same thing. I keep working on it and sometimes after a couple of hours (I KID YOU NOT) I get it to work. Mostly I try and keep using the one that I did get it to work and just change the text--very carefully so as not to have it move again on me.
If I wait maybe 3 or 5 minutes and write the description first or something after the first time I "flip" the picture, I can put it in with no hitch and it is in the correct position.
Guess it was the fact I was trying to do the in-listing photo immediately after I 'flipped' the pic in the gallery space and the system hadn't caught up yet!
