I don't see any messages regarding image protection. I sell my art - PLEASE - WHAT IS THE HTML FOR PROTECTING AN IMAGE (TURNING OF RIGHT CLICK FOR THEIMAGE)???
I have image protection turned on - has been for some time .. Recently, it stopped working. I need to list more of my art listings and really need it. Help! I uploaded the images to my listing and they are not protected either because it usually takes effect right away and it isn't happening.

using the "image protection" option here on auctiva still doesn't work properly anyway. i have it on all of my items and if you right click, the auctiva "protected image" window DOES pop up, HOWEVER....the window to copy the image and such still also pops up after it.

i've had to relist some items and deleted the original photo's from my computer but they were still in old/previously/or current auctions and i've been able to "bypass" the security feature anyway.

there IS an html code you can put in your listing templates that will prevent the "right click" feature to work at all! it's called some "mommy-something website" or whatever....

i've seen someone post the link somewhere on here before, but for the life of me i can't remember what it is. i was skeptical to see if it worked and it TOTALLY does. you can't right-click anything on the entire page!

ok, i found this website... RIGHT CLICK PROTECTION try it out....it's not the same one i saw earlier, but same info.

also, depending on what you're posting....people may still be able to use the CONTROL-c (for copy) etc....i don't remember if it protected "control" options....but it's better than nothing!

Unfortunately, there's only so much you can do to protect yourself. If you're concerned about theft of your pics, then watermarking may be a better solution.

Right-click protection only goes so far, and as far as I know, most (if not all) can be defeated by a diligent person with access to Google web search.
