i am trying to disable my checkout through auctiva but not having any luck, how do i do this and how long does it take to be in effect

To turn off Auctiva checkout, go to the "My Account" tab and then to "Checkout Settings". Here unmark the boxes that say you are using Auctiva checkout.

I believe it goes into effect with any new listings you do but I am not sure if listings already done with Auctiva checkout marked still have to be processed this way. Someone may come along that has more information on this....

Yeah, once you disable it then it applies to any new listings after that. Any listings that posted to eBay while checkout was enabled, though, will still have to go through checkout.
