Hi! Thank you for taking the time out to read whats probably a minor problem im experiencing as a new user.

I had 2 buyers attempt to use the Buy It Now feature yesterday without success. Each buyer notified me of the problem.
I had a friend give me a report of what the error message was while going throuhg a mock purchase.

While i dont have the exact message stored it was something very similar to this:
"The shipping cost for your location cannot be calculated as the Shipping calculator is not functioning currently."

It would not allow the person to click the "continue to Paypal" link thus my missing out on 9 sales.

All of my auctions were set up with a flat shipping cost to the USA/Canada with no shipping service beyond those 2 locations. I used the Buy It Now feature (which isnt compatible with Auctiva Checkout) with Immediate payment required.

I believe ive disabled the Auctiva checkout in my preferences on the Auctiva site.

What is the problem in this case?

So problem solved means what? Was this a problem for ALL of us and how long did we all lose potential sales?

No in this case i believe it was a user error (me).

Using the BUY IT Now feature requires that i specifically list a price for a foreign location despite having already specified that i ship to the foreign location and charged a flat fee for both the US location and the foreign location (same price).

For some reason that wasnt abundantly clear the first time i listed . Whether or not that was because of myself or that it truly was some what ambiguous in its description i dont know. Ill be listing again soon so ill have a better idea the next time.
