Hello,

I bought an item a few days ago through a seller who is using Auctiva's checkout.

My confirmed Paypal addresss for some reason is being identified as not confirmed on both the seller's & my transaction page though.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue before?

Hi,

Login to your PayPal account and go to the My Account tab - Profile - Add or Edit Street Address page. What does the Status column show for your Credit Card designated address (I assume the one the transaction designates for shipping). Mine shows "Home Billing Confirmed" as example. That address in my profile matches my credit card address, which is the primary method to get "Confirmed". Also, does that match the ship-to address for the problem transaction, i.e. maybe eBay and PayPal address don't match?

Mine shows it to be the same that yours does.

I made sure that the address that I selected for the shipment was the confirmed address.

I'm not sure as to what's up with this, as I bought an item ~1-2 hours before this one (this one went straight through Paypal), and it shows that the address is confirmed. I've also had ~10 other items be processed without issue before this one.

This happened to me last year...but Auctiva was not involved. Some kind of glitch on PP's part. After being confirmed for a couple of years, suddenly I wasn't anymore. Nothing had changed but I was still unconfirmed. Spent countless hours on the phone with PP, they didn't know what was wrong. I finally had to apply for "Buyer Credit" which I didn't want, to get myself confirmed again. Unbelievable. I hope you find an easier answer.

We found a way around the issue.

The seller sent a payment request directly via Paypal and it properly went through.
