I just received a really weird email from a winning bidder of mine. All it said was "wow you are really pushy! are you based on the east coast?" Very odd, but I realized she was replying to an invoice/email that Auctiva generated, which was a bit pushy with the payment of the item. It was the first time I had that happen. I have Auctivas check out disabled, so why the email? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks, Lori

The winning bidder email can be customized here:
http://www.auctiva.com/email/manageemailtemplates.aspx

This is what it currently says, which doesn't seem pushy to me but you may edit it as you like with the link above:
quote:

You won!

* Item number: [ITEMNUMBERLINK]
* Item title: [ITEMTITLE]
* Quantity Won: [QUANTITY]
* Item Ended: [ENDDATE]

This is a courtesy email to let you know that we appreciate your business. If you have not already paid, please visit your eBay account to complete this transaction.

Please email us at [EMAILADDRESS] if you have any questions.

Thank you for your purchase!

Maybe getting two winning bidder emails, ebay's and Auctiva's, is what seemed pushy to the buyer. Rather a rude comment just the same if you ask me.

Hi...I heard back from her and she thought it was a bit much getting two invoices back to back. The one auctiva sends which is just a payment reminder, was the one that put her over the top! She said it seemed like I was shouting at her....I apologized if she felt that way, and she understood that the second email was automatically generated. I think she overreacted however. And yes I am originally from NY & NJ...and we aren't all pushy and obnoxious over there!

Hi Jeff....I do not think it is pushy either. She must be a bit sensitive to say the least! She implied that because she received it back to back. I am quick with my invoices, and she received yours after mine. I am going to reactivate it because I actually kind of like it!
