Hi there - I had a question about my customers who are having trouble with the checkout process in Auctiva for an item that is a local pick up but it could have been shipped - they cannot override the shipping charge apparently. I even send them an ebay invoice and they still cannot pay without the shipping charge being added. I prefer my payments to be made through paypal instead of cash or money order that way I get it sooner - but now I am having to wait until they pick it up and pay. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

on checkout settings, do you have "allow buyers to edit total amount" checked?

Or if nothing else, just "Request Money" through PayPal. That way you skip all the details you want and just give a total that they can hit a button to pay.

Hi - oh I never thought of the request money solution - that's a good one - I didn't have the buyer being able to adjust shipping checked so I wouldn't have to deal with any problems with that - but maybe I should just do that for now. If I change it now will it work for any listings done previoulsy? Thanks a bunch!

The "Allow Buyer to Edit Total Amount" option is a global setting in your Auctiva account so it will apply to previously posted listings, as well as those posted after the option is checked.
