I'm thinking about disabling Auctiva checkout. Would it be prudent to let my current listings run their course and start new? Also, if I disable Auctiva checking, do I have to do anything to ebay settings? I never changed anything to the ebay settings when I enabled Auctiva's checkout. I had several multiple item buyers yesterday and checkout was an absolute nightmare. Thanks for any help. Squeege88
Auctiva checkout is currently unable to combine invoices but we should have support for combined invoices in place in the next couple months.
If you disable Auctiva checkout, any listings you post thereafter will go through eBay checkout. You won't need to make any changes on your eBay settings page.
However, your listings that were posted through Auctiva while Auctiva checkout was enabled will still go through Auctiva checkout.
You can disable Auctiva checkout at Auctiva -> My Account(tab) -> Checkout Settings. Just uncheck the box next to "Use Auctiva Checkout Services" and click "Save Settings".
I tried to disable the auctiva checkout as stated above due to having problems w/the invoice and in my account the use auctiva checout is not checked but my invoices from the my ebay section are still being pulled through acutiva. Whats going on?
Mike, the problem with your post above is that for listings that still have the auctive checkout feature, buyers can't pay me directly from my invoice. (They get an error message). I have to tell them they need to log into their PayPal account and pay me directly from there.
For your listings which have Auctiva checkout applied to them, your customers should be able to pay via the Auctiva checkout by clicking the "Pay Now" link on the eBay winning bidder email.
As far as your invoice goes, I'm not sure. What method are you using to send these customers an invoice?
Mike, When I get an Item Sold email from eBay, I click "Send Invoice". Next time it happens, I'll ask my customer if they are trying to pay me from the eBay invoice, or an Auctiva notice, and what exactly the error message says.
I just find it odd that the only people who are having problems are from listings pre-Auctiva checkout turn off.
(Also, listings where I used ebay SYI are working fine as far as payments go).
Hmmm...Since Auctiva checkout is integrated with eBay checkout, I believe when you send an invoice through eBay, when the customer rreceives it they are directed to the Auctiva checkout. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to pay in that manner.
If you find out what error message they are receiving, please file a support case using the appropriate link on our help page to let us know.
