OK - You've all convinced me that I need to be using Auctiva's insurance (esp. since it will cover international shipping too!)!
Please forgive the question - I checked other postings but couldn't find the answer - also watched the demo. At what point do I pay Auctiva for the insurance that I purchase, if I'm not using Auctiva's checkout?
If you go to "My Account" , then "Settings, then " Auctiva Shipping Insurance Settings", there is a "rates and details" link that should answer most of your Auctiva insurance questions.

Prior to making your first payment, your outstanding Auctiva Shipping Insurance balance can only reach (-)$5, at which point we will send you an email notification and the Auctiva Shipping Insurance setting in your account will be automatically disabled until a payment is made.
Once you have made your first payment, your outstanding balance can reach (-)$40 before the Auctiva Shipping Insurance setting within your account would become automatically disabled. Before getting to that point, we will send you an email notification when your outstanding balance reaches (-)$20, and again when it reaches (-)$40.
I just want you - and the rest of the tech staff - to know how much I appreciate you guys. AND all the other fine folks here on the forums. Auctiva-ers are helpful and friendly, a much-appreciated change of pace!
