signed up yesterday really only for the gallery. I didn't realise Auctiva offered so many other free utilities. So I will be using them in the future (hopefully!!).
When I signed up I had 3 listings already on ebay and these were imported into Auctiva with no problems. I then read the checkout help with screenshots and noticed that the checkout is automatcially enabled and it's in USD's. As I'm only selling to UK buyers this may be a problem! How will this effect the listings that were on ebay that were imported and also new listings that have been put on since directly through ebay? Do I leave the checkout enabled, disabled or will it not make a difference to a UK seller. As I said I really only wanted to use Auctiva initially for the gallery until I get the hang of it.
I would disable it for the time being...the learning curve can be a little tough at first. Go to the accont tab at the top of the page > settings > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > and disable it there. As for your current listings, you may have to contact Auctiva support to disable it (not really sure because I don't use it). That would be under the 'help' tab. You'll find alot of really nice surprises on Auctiva, it's a great way to do your listings

Probably as with anything else, it will depend on the volume of support requests they have....they are usually very fast, even immediate at times, I'm sure you'll hear back soon

what have I done!! I disabled checkout in account settings. Sold a couple of items and no complaints from customers so I thought everyting was going well.
However, my listings that I've put on today (1 day sale) although they appear in "my ebay" don't when you perform a generic search. Is this normal, due to the indexing or have I inadvertantly screwed something up when I disabled the checkout or could it be something else. If it is the indexing, then how long does it take for items to appear in the search field(is this a "how long is a piece of string question") I don't want to panic unnecessarily.
Thanks again! and sorry to keep on bombarding you with questions.
Believe me, NO need to panic It's just the infernal indexing that's all. Any preferences you set up with Auctiva will not ever hurt your listings in any way. What you're seeing (or not seeing) is completely normal. Disabling your checkout only means that buyers will check out through Ebay, you'll be fine Indexing has been taking about 4-6 hours (sometimes much sooner) lately so try to hang in there...
