Hi Spotmom, I would suggest filing a support request and explaining the situation. I know they combine items for one shipment but yours is a different problem. You can also try calling U-PIC customer support directly at (800) 955-4623. U-PIC is the provider of Auctiva's insurance, and I have found them to be very helpful in the past. You NEED to contact someone on this, though. Don't just assume that it is covered.

I did recieve an answer from Auctiva and the below emails from U-PIC. They were prompt and courteous with the replies. I will combine all 3 answers here for anyone else with the same question: quote:
#1 Good afternoon, If the items you are sending are a set and the entire set loses all of its value with the destruction of a part, and there is no repair cost, you have a chance to file a claim for the entire value of the set. As for the multiple boxes, each box is supposed to be insured individually and in the case of a claim, an invoice with the breakdown of the charges will be required in order to determine the value for the items in the specific box. That is assuming it is not a set. Let me know if this helps and if you have any further questions.
#2 I talked with our claims manager and he said that as long as it is on the same item number through Auctiva, then all three boxes will be covered.
#3 This is the common policy if you have this arise again.
