I am trying to buy insurance for 2 items that sold on ebay but the sold auctions in the transaction section show auctions from March, 2006. Last time I purchased insurance I thought I could do it from the Sales / Transactions tab. Did I lose it? Thanks, Jan

Hi Jan,

If you file a support case regarding this issue, and include the item numbers of the listings you would like insurance for, we'll be able to apply it from our end.

We should also be able to update your transaction record.

OK: this is my question.
I'm a seller on ebay who was offering autiva shipping insurance for those customers using auctiva check out.

Can someone tell me why; that if I'm supposed to be earning money (on the average of $0.25 per. transaction) everytime someone buys the activa shipping insurance, than why is it I have a negative balance of $-5.25 cents that is owed by me and must be paid before they will reinstate the shipping insuranace option for my listings???

It was my thoughts that the buyers were purchasing and paying for the insurance not me!

SO why the bill????

The Eagle... Cool

the customers pay you the additional amount (whatever it is you charge for insurance) and then you pay Auctiva (less than your charge to the customer) to actually buy the insurance.

You don't get it for FREE - that's why you have a bill for it - but you do get it for cheaper than USPS insurance.

The_Eagle,

Without looking at your account... I can tell you that your 'bill' of $5.25 is what you owe us for the premium. You have probably collected $6-8 in insurance charges from the buyer. You keep the profit ($1.75 or whatever) and send us the $5.25 to cover the premium.

I already provide the insurance when I sell my items. Can you tell me how to disable your insurance so I will not be paying it twice?

My Account > Checkout Settings, then it's the third section down.
