Hello: I wrote yesterday but I must have placed my discussion and questions in the wrong area because they are gone today and no one has answered... I recently deactivated Auctiva checkout because I have customers who purchase multiple auctions who were complaining that I couldn't send them a combined invoice for all their purchases like the eBay combined invoice feature. Since disabling Auctiva checkout, my first buyer to check out (still through Auctiva because I had posted her auction when Auctiva checkout was turned on) wasn't able to include shipping costs. The shipping field was turned off and the shipping price, which is always built into my auctions individually as a priority shipping cost, wasn't included. Additionally, she had to hit the send button over a dozen times before she could even pay for her auction fee. I do not use the shipping calculator and she lives in Ohio so it wasn't an international sale. She hasn't forwarded her shipping fee because this was her first (and she says only) experience with Auctiva, and she won't attempt to use it again. She has never forwarded payment directly through PayPal so she isn't keen on logging onto her PayPal account either. I don't know how else I can collect shipping from her otherwise. Do you know why shipping wasn't included in her auction? Is this going to happen in the remainder of my auctions that were posted through Auctiva? What about my eBay store auctions that automatically relist themselves every 30 days? Will they remain with Auctiva checkout or will they default to eBay after the initial 30 day cycle expires? Please write back with answers to these questions ASAP because I can't afford to lost my shipping fees, nor do I want negative feedback because of a technical glitch that I have no control over. As I can't see what is happening from my side, I don't even know how to offer advice! HELP! --barpren

Any auctions that were posted while Auctiva's checkout was enabled won't be able to go through eBay's checkout. I'm not sure about the your store listings, though.

And I'm not sure why there was a shipping glitch either, sorry. Has it happened again?

If you still want to collect your shipping fees -- and the customer will still pay them -- you can go to PayPal and click on Request Money at the top. I believe what the customer then has to do to send payment is pretty simple (probably just clicking a link and then clicking one button).

Good luck.

Thank you for getting back to me. I have a few more questions/concerns. Do the remaining auctions that were listed when Auctiva checkout was enabled look and close the same way through Auctiva that they did prior to disabling it? As I am on this side of checkout, I never see what my buyers see. I also discontinued Auctiva insurance, which is a convenient feature, but it just seemed too complicated to have to go through so many steps and parties should I need to submit a claim. For convenience' sake, I am back to using the post office for insurance. Could that have anything to do with the Auctiva shipping feature field being excluded? Why did my buyer have to keep hitting the button to send? I haven't had anyone check out yet since her yesterday so I don't know if it is fixed. I have three auctions with bids closing today and one that already closed but hasn't been paid for yet that were all posted through Auctiva. I am holding my breath! Finally, how can I confirm where my automatically relisted store items will be checking out from? They were initially posted from Auctiva, but in some cases that was up to 3 mos. ago! Also, please see the post after my first one. It looks like this shipping glitch is becoming a problem for multiple sellers! Thanks again, barpren

I have had part of the questions answered but I am really concerned about auctions closing today. I don't want a repeat, and I don't know what to advise should it happen again!

Yes, if they were posted while Auctiva's checkout was enabled. As soon as your auctions cycle back up to those created after you disabled Auctiva's checkout you'll be in the clear.

As for the rest, I recommend you file a support case (the link's at the bottom of the Help page). Explain your situation and list all of your questions and I'm sure they'll set everything straight for you.
