I'm relatively new to Activia and I need help with a couple of items.

1- I just learned that my "mail payment to" is blank on the Order Confirmation page my buyers see. I had been wondering why anyone paying by check or money order kept asking where to send payment. I have not been able to figure out how to add my address to this page...Can anyone help?

2- I have been flustrated with how to best set up insurance. I would like to make insurance optional for all my auctions. In Auctiva's tutorial it shows that if you select "optional" in the shipping details you can leave the amount blank; however, if I do that and try to post or run an error check it errors out - Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your help - Mark V

Hi Mark V,

I'm afraid I can only help with your first question...this is a preference you MUST set up in Ebay. When you check off 'accept mailed payments' in Auctiva there is no where to fill out any info. It has to be pre set in Ebay preferences so the info can be picked up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I went back into eBay and my address is correctly listed in the "Payment address" field under "My Account" in my eBay profile. It appears for some reason that Auctiva is just not picking it up.

I double checked and eBay shows the correct ship to address under Preferences/Selling preferences/Payment from buyers/Use this payment address. This section doesn't actually display the address it directs you to "See Adresses under My Account.

When I clicked on the link it took me to a page that displayed my registration, Payment and Primary addresses. My registration and primary are listed as my home address and the Payment address is my P.O. Box which are all correct.

Thanks again for your reply - Mark V

Mark V,

Quite by accident I found something else you may need to fill out..

Go to Selling Preferences again >
Payment from Buyers >
USE CHECKOUT - click on edit and there's an area to fill in your address

If that doesn't work I guess I'm out of ideas Confused

The address was correct in that area; however, I retyped it and submitted the changes. Hopefully this will work. Thanks, again for your suggestions.
