I did not realize that you could not combine auctions at payment time and so submitted about 10 items, some store some auction. I have now reset my preferrences to not use the Auctiva Checkout, but would like to make sure the current items will use the ebay or should I say paypal checkout. I have seen others say that current auctions that were already active will still use the Auctiva checkout. Is there a way to manually change this? Even if it requires removing a part of the HTML on the ebay auction? Help, I have bids on two of my current auctions and one has contacted me saying if he wins he wants to also purchase a store item... And if no way to manually do this, how can I end the current store items so I can relist? Thanks for any help.
I think the only option is to end the listings at eBay and relist them. It all depends on what your settings are when the listing actually posts. So revising the active listings won't help because they've already been posted. However, any new postings will default to eBay's checkout since that's what your Auctiva settings now reflect.
Thanks, I was hoping there was another way as I have bids on two of the auctions and can't end those and didn't want to lose any listing fee's by ending the other ones. I guess I should have researched things better before I got so eager to list stuff. I only found this forum after I figured out how to list.
Yeah, your situation of finding out too late that the checkout doesn't combine items is fairly common (happened to me too).
In the meantime (if you don't already have a solution figured out) you might invoice for multiple wins through PayPal until your listings cycle back to the ones using eBay's checkout.
The upside is you don't have to learn how a new checkout works! Seriously, though, the ability to combine invoices is supposed to be one of the features available in the next Auctiva release (sometime later this year, I think).
