My first eBay auction using Auctiva closed yesterday, and I was unaware that Auctiva would send my customer an invoice. I found that out too late, as I sent an invoice via eBay first; so my customer received two invoices.
I learned how to disable Auctiva Checkout via these message boards, but I cannot for the life of me find out how to disable Auctiva's insurance.
I ship only UPS, and charged my customer $2.50 (UPS' actual charge) on my eBay invoice, then Auctiva sent my customer an invoice charging him $6.20.
THE BIG QUESTION: Now that I've disabled Auctiva checkout will Auctiva insurance automatically be disabled, or is that yet anohter step?
My listing looked beautiful, I would like to continue using Auctiva. I think the account and profiles setup are difficult to navigate. Without these message boards I would have given up during my first hour of study.
Ok, as soon as I posted this I went back into my account settings and found the insurance option page. So my above problem is solved. Sorry for the alarm.
