i checked with ebay and paypal and it the issue is not with them.
there is something where when my buyer presses checkout it is taking them to an email address to pay that is not the right one. i can't find anywhere how it is linking this together. i type in my paypal address when i list in auctiva. no clue where it is getting the wrong address. thanks for any help
You must have the wrong email addy somewhere..did you check Ebay and PP too? Are you sure all three are exactly the same? Sometimes it can be something as small as an extra space or a typo on one letter, etc. Did you go to PP and make sure it's linked to ebay? Other than that, I'm out of ideas

I am having the same problem today I went through all accounts and reviewed settings. then went to ebay support. After researching it they say they don't find any problems, and to contact Auctiva. Here is what the buyer says' "HELLO I HAVE TRIED TO PAY FOR THESE ITEMS, BUT WHEN I PRESS CONTINUE FROM E-BAY TO YOUR CHECKOUT IT WILL NOT GO, IT JUST RETURNS TO THE PAGE I AM ON. I WILL CONTINUE TO TRY THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND, BUT IF I CAN'T GET IT TO LINK, THEN I WILL SEND PAYMENT IN MAIL. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WANT TO REPORT THIS PROBLEM TO E-BAY OR AUCTIVA. THANKS," I sent a request in to Auctiva by email, but my experience is that takes a day or two and I'm not into wating that long.....so came to where I might get faster help. Did the op get hers/his resolved?

I did check email on all three just now....PP had another account as primary.....I changed the secondary one to primary. I don't see how that would matter as it takes both automatically as a rule, at least with ebay. But I did switch it to match exactly with Auctiva. Now wait and see I guess.
Thanks! I don't know yet only one sale today! I think they will try it again tonight. I just can't decide if I should send a new invoice or not......I am concerned that if I do then it will go back and work, then I'll have two invoices......
Good news, 2nd buyer got through the process last night. So you must be right about the Paypal primary account...I am not willing to test it right now tho. I still have the other one lingering. I think I will have to send another invoice to make it work which will screw up my accounting. Then I have to do some work. It's good to know or at least believe that may be the answer.....PP must be primary with whatever you have primary on ebay and Auctiva. If not a pat answer, it's one someone can try. What is odd is that I thought it had been working since I switched.....omg technology! Thanks

Update last customer says she did it but went in through the back door......I don't know what that means. In the meantime I sent the previous buyer another invoice, with a new discount. So I still don't know what or if it's working. Any more advice..... Auctiva support has not responded yet, so if anyone is reading and know something about this problem Please Help me!
Like I said...out of ideas here Now with the weekend, Auctiva support may be a little slower. I've never used Auctiva checkout, so I'm just giving you my best educated guess..but you CAN send an invoice thru Paypal.. Click on the Request Money tab Ebay Items subtab You'll need your buyers email addy and item(s) numbers and fill out the form.

Oh BTW 'back door' might mean that buyer paid directly thru PP, much like you sending an invoice thru them..

Thanks! I didn't realize that I didn't have to use Auctiva now...not very smart am I? Altho, the last few sales have gone off without being connected to Auctiva. I assumed it was just waiting in limbo for me to make sure it was set up right.....ok....more to learn. Don't have to use Auctiva secure check out to use Auctiva.....OK!!!! Thanks again. Nothing from support yet....you guys are the best!
