I am getting loads of requests for accepting money orders. Are we no longer allowed to accept or what????

You cannot solicit money orders or other types of "paper" payments in your listings (there are a few exceptions--see this link for more info http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/accepted-payments-policy.html)

Reba is right, you cannot have any text in most auctions that say you accept money orders. However if someone ASKS you if they can send a money order, you are allowed to accept if you wish.

Oops, The link isn't working--anyway I had a request and I said yes which is great that it is okay to do so. I have had a bunch of people ask. I noticed that Auctiva still displays the money order option. I hope that isn't showing up somewhere in the listing.
