I currently have 3 customers who are all telling me that they cannot checkout. They have not given me the exact error message or anything just that "It does no work".

I don't think we can turn off Auctiva checkout for listings that are already active or closed can we? I think you can only turn it off ahead of time.

Is Auctiva even aware there is an issue?

They are plenty aware. They answered my first support request with, "it was an issue with a server. Its fixed now. Have your customer go through the check out again." Well, it did not work. So being smart I even relisted the item and had her re-buy it. Still didn't work.
So i just had her send money through paypal.
I have 100 items ending in the next 3 days...if this keeps happening....

There's another thread going about this too:
http://community.auctiva.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4556093...871086162#6871086162
The only thing you can do for the time being, tho it's a huge PITA, is to either send an invoice thru Paypal or explain to buyers how to pay thru Paypal.

Hi Community,

Thanks for your help in bringing this matter to our attention. I just consulted with our IT department regarding this matter and verified that we are aware of this issue and working toward a solution. At this point I anticipate this issue will be resolved within the next hour or so, but hopefully sooner.

In the mean time, if you would like your buyers to be able to pay right away, it may be a good idea to contact them to arrange payment separate of checkout, perhaps via email or a Paypal money request. Otherwise, they will be able to complete checkout successfully once we get this issue resolved.

I will post further updates on this issue to this thread when more information becomes available. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

Hi Community,

I just received an update from out IT department regarding this issue and, according to our logs, it appears Auctiva Checkout has been functioning properly since about 6:30 AM PT this morning, so I suspect your buyers who reported being unable to checkout attempted to do so before that time.

If you any of your buyers are still unable to complete the checkout process, please let us know by filing a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

The previous post you said that you spoke with IT and anticipated the issue to be fixed in an hour or so. But now you say it was fixed 2 hours ago?!?!? I just hope it works. I don't have anyway of testing - I just hope it works hear on out.

I just signed up on Auctiva a week or so ago, and thought I found a "good thing" I had my first customer TRY to check out via Auctiva and she said it didn't work. After reading all these post dating back to 12/14...I'm beginning to wonder if I did find a "good thing" Time will tell I guess.

You can turn off the Auctiva checkout.

Last time this happened in October and November, it was an eBay issue, though they denied it like crazy. At least Auctiva 'fesses up that it's on this site. Wink

Ladyfalcon, did you let Support know?
