My buyer purchased two separate items and I have combined into one package and wish to insure that package.
On the auctiva page it shows both items separately and says purchase insurance. How do I combine the two transactions into one before purchasing the insurance. I don't want the ebay input to show separate shipping charges and I don't want two separate insurance charges.
If it hasn't yet been 3 days since the sale, you can combine them into a single order using our fancy new Payment Tracking tool (Click on My Account -> Checkout Settings and select Track payment status for my eBay sales and click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page).
This will reconcile the transactions with eBay and combine the two transactions into an order (IF they're shown as an order on eBay) and then you should be able to do it.
Thanks Aaron - sounds like I'll be able to do it from now on. I'm hoping that will work for orders I invoice myself without going thru either checkout and that I receive payment for personally with checks or money orders without the buyer going through paypal as that is the way most of mine are.
In this case I had word this morning that someone from support went ahead and purchased it for me for the combined totals I requested and took it from my account so I'm all set for now.
