I have had two different customers try to pay for items thru my checkout. I setup the authorize.net info on my checkout prefs, and set my ebay prefs. The first customer told me she got an error message saying the account wasnt set up for checkout. so I reconfigured everything and entered a new trans key and double checked my settings, now just tonight another customer tells me the same thing happened again. I'm utterly confused. Please look into this.

I believe there is a setting in your Authorize.net account that you will have to adjust. Can you please provide me with the item numbers for which this error message was encountered?

I checked all my authorize settings to make sure I didnt have the invoice or description enabled on the payment form and they weren't.

Hi Tattybritches,

Your Auctiva account settings are correctly configured to accept credit card payments, however, there appears to be an Authorize.net permissions setting that needs to be adjusted.

The error message returned for these transactions was "This account(Authorize.net) has not been given the permission(s) required for this request".

I'm not sure exactly what setting needs to be enabled to grant this permission, so I suggest you contact Authorize.net support for further assistance with this matter. Information on how to contact their support department can be found at:

I changed my weblink setting enabling it. Can you please run another check and see if that fixed the problem on my checkout. Its the only setting I could see that wasn't enabled on authorize.net
