Hi,
I see this is your first post in the Forum, so let's see if I can help with those issues.
Listings can take 6 hours or more (especially on weekends) to categorize and index for search. That's true whether listing from Auctiva or directly on ebay, depending on the category (especially those ebay is now screening very heavily for policy restrictions).
Gallery is free (in US), but the green pound symbol or ($) in US on lister means an item is NOT FREE, i.e. it's warning of fee. I'm guessing you are UK and I don't think Gallery is free there (yet). Use the "Estimate eBay Fees" button at the bottom of the lister page to check what you'll be charged prior to listing. I'd also use the "Error Check" button to see if there are any obvious problems or conflicts to prevent listing rejections/errors.
Ice Tea might help the steam problem.

Thanks for the help, it's just when i watched the tutorial it says the green dollar sign means ebay would usually charge for this but auctiva does'nt, must have different charges for u.s, typical rip off britain!! I'm just glad i did'nt add highlight, featured etc, it would have cost me £20 to sell a £1.50 item!!, Thanks for the advice.
P.s I don't have ice tea, but would Nettle Tea help!!!
Hi sjp, In addition to what Danno has said, Auctiva's free service does not charge you for ANYTHING (unless you are using their insurance option). Whatever fees you incur are charged by Ebay.
Just a side note...Speaking strictly as a buyer (the buyer half of me buys ALOT) you could probably save yourself some money and not use Bold or any of the other marketing tools ebay offers. Most folks know what they want and are looking for a good price. On the other hand, we as selers, want our listings to look the best they can. JMHO
Now I'm dying for some ice tea....

The Auctiva software itself is free. Unfortunately, eBay is not! You are confusing the two. With Auctiva, there are No sign-up fees and no monthly fees - and Auctiva offers the following free services that would normally incur "additional" eBay fees:
For example - if you scheduled a listing directly through eBay, you would pay a fee for the use of their listing designer, you would pay a fee to schedule the listing, you would pay a fee for each individual picture you posted, and you would pay a fee for "supersized" pictures. With Auctiva, this is all free. However, all other eBay services (such as an eBay gallery photo, buy-it-now, and other listing enhancements such as bold and highlight) will incur normal eBay fees that you would pay regardless of whether you used Auctiva or posted directly through eBay.
The green pound sign (it's a dollar sign here in the USA) means that eBay charges an additional fee for that particular option - not that it is "free". Also, as indicated previously, it often takes a few hours before your item is indexed and "searchable" on eBay - and once again, this is true whether you use Auctiva or not. You'll notice that the item will appear on your "My eBay" page almost immediately, however - indicating that the item has, in fact, been posted to eBay.
As for the steam coming out of your ears - I might suggest actually reading the explaination of what Auctiva does and does not do. Nowhere on the Auctiva site does it say that your eBay listings will be entirely "free". What it DOES say is that "normal eBay LISTING FEES still apply". Don't blame Auctiva for your own failure to read and understand Auctiva's purposes and limitations!
