Hello. I am really hoping someone out there can help me.

I have set up all of my STORE listings in a similar fashion. I charge an initital shipping fee for the first item purchased plus an additional shipping fee for each additional item purchased from the same listing.

However, when my customers are ordering multiple items from the same listing, they are only being charged the initial fee for shipping FOR THE FIRST ITEM ONLY and the additional items they are buying are not adding in the additinal shipping.

For example, I just had the following order:

ITEM - $54.99
NUMBER OF ITEMS PURCHASED: 2
SHIPPING IS SET UP FOR: $15 for the first item + $10 for each additional item

So, the ORDER TOTAL should have been $109.98 + $25 shipping.

HOWEVER, Auctiva only billed the customer for $15 shipping. The way the invoice came in was $109.98 + $15 shipping.

As you can see, this is wrong. This has happened several times now when customers order multiple items from the same listing. All of my STORE listings are different when it comes to shipping prices. But, they all have a shipping price for the first item, and a price for each additional item. But every product line I carry has different amounts. So, I just can't create 1 additional item rate because every item I ship has different shipping prices.

I need to know how to get Auctiva to add the FIRST ITEM SHIPPING PRICE to each ADDITIONAL ITEM SHIPPING PRICE when multiple items from the same listing is purchased. Every one of my STORE listings has it set up, but it is not working.

This problem actually began occurring recently due to a bug in eBay system. While, at a glance, it seems to be an Auctiva deficiency, the root of the problem is actually that eBay does not consistently pass the correct shipping calculations to the Auctiva Checkout system for multiple quantity listings when the buyer purchases more than one item.

We have brought this to eBay's attention when we began receiving reports of this nature, however, they have been unable to provide us with an ETA as to when this problem will be resolved thus far. We will be incorporating a new way of retrieving this information into our next release so, if eBay doesn't get the problem resolved by then, this issue should no longer occur following that release, which is scheduled for mid-April.

Hello, I am having the same problem with combined shipping. Also, I noticed that when listing in Auctiva I try to enter an amount into the additional shipping field , for combined invoices and it won't let me. Please help as this is messing up my invoices on combined shipping. Thanks

Hi,

A combined invoice for purchases from multiple listings would follow Combined Shipping Rules and not the Add (within listing) Rule. I hope that distinction makes sense.

Combined Shipping Rules are created in eBay preferences and then sync'd back to Auctiva in the Auctiva eBay Account preferences. Yes, I know it's complicated, but that's the way it works (or is suppose to work as prior problem disclosed).

BTW...are you doing eBay or Auctiva Checkout?
