Is there a way to make my "preferences" stick? What I mean is if I prefer to have my listings always start out sorted in a particular order, or if I want my folders always ordered in a certain manner, can I do that?

If not, I'd like to see that added. Something where on the Folders page I could choose to move the folders up or down to get them in the order I want them and then when I came back they would still be in that order. As it is now it looks like the folders default to being ordered by when I made them.

As for the other pages, I'd like the ability to say I always want my default view to be, for example, Alphabetical by name, or any of the sorts you already offer. I just want my selection to "stick".

Thanks again... Smile

mnormand -

They may not be all that you are looking for, but there are many defaults you can choose from on your Account Settings page.

1. My Accounts tab
2. Account Settings

From there you can choose how you would like to have the available defaults set for your account.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Hmm... Well, I tried what you suggested and while I can change it to Name Ascending, it did not make any change to my view. Is this one of those times where I need to put in a support ticket? (My folder view is stuck at a view that is ordered by Create Date)

Hi -

Yes, if you made the changes and made sure to update the changes by clicking the button at the bottom of the page and the changes are not reflected, please file a support request from the link on the bottom of the help page!

...and guess what, they looked into this and its a bug. They are going to looking into fixing it.

Still wouldn't mind seeing it where you could put the folders in the order you want (move them up and down type thing) and then have them stick...

Thx,
Mike

Well, I was so excite about this site. I am a proficient computer user and ebay seller. I have never been so disappointed in the functioning of a website in my life. Auctiva works smoothly for a while and then next time, there will be all kinds of glitches which eat up valuable time. I listed two items today and it took several hours. So many problems and quirks that I think I'm going to bail out and pay the price for another good functioning service. I know they have wonderful good intentions but day after day, there is always something else. I just can't figure why I have absolutely no problems with any other tool such as this. It's so sad because I really liked it when it worked and I just can't count on this service. It's way too stressful. The $15 it will cost me to move to another service now seems well worth it. Bye and good luck to everyone.
