Trying to find help on these forums is a joke! You are too unorganized! I go to the image forum and all I can find on the pages is questions on "no Pics" why not organize it into subcategories?? How are we suppose to get our stuff right if u have no sources?? I think I had better go somewhere else and pay for a real service.

Thanks

Sounds like a someone who is just trying to put Auctiva down. They always throw in, "I'm going to a 'paying' site because by 'paying' for my service, I will get 'better' service."

What these troll like people fail to grasp is this. Auctiva 'is' getting paid. That's right, BUT they make their money in a non-traditional way. This has been explained a gazillion times. Still 'some' either don't understand or want to try and play up the sterotype "you get what you pay for". Even that isn't true. Look how many SpareDollar members paid and paid and paid and paid and paid but SpareDollar NEVER did work well. They paid their $8.95 and were ignored.

All listing services will have 'issues'. It's how the listing service 'handles' these issues that counts. Auctiva is great when it comes to customer support and dealing with any service issues. Then again, you have SpareDollar, for instance where you 'pay' $8.95 per month and receive poor if any customer service at all.

Good luck on your quest for perfection.

Someone just asked a question in the listing section.

It took me 5 seconds to click find, type the three letters API and find an answer to the question.

To me? Can't get much easier than that.

There are always stickies on the top of each thread. Those stickies have answers to questions that are asked over and over and over and over by newbies.

I would also advise signing up for an online class with Auctiva.

I agree with Steve.
Search/Find is your friend.

If you use search/find you'll find your answer or if you send in a help ticket it will be answered....and promptly.

There's plenty of other services out there, perhaps one of the others would suit your needs better. I don't tell others how to run their business...whatever floats your boat.

I've been here for almost a year and don't have any problems. Customer Service is stellar. My tickets to help are answered promptly. And the search/find function works great for the forums.

I also don't depend on a forum to answer my questions in regards to the third party service I'm using. If I'm a valued customer, I can file a ticket and it will be acknowledged.

I was with a third party service before this that had the worst customer service you can imagine. No answers to emails, no acknowledgements to questions. (even when I offered to pay for others who stated they couldn't afford to pay their bill)

The owner was happy to collect monthly payments for a system that was unbelievably broken, upped prices and promised a beta that wasn't being worked on and more. Simple changes that could have been done by coding were never done but were being promised to come in beta. But beta never got worked on, the owner only upped the prices to see who would still continue to follow without an updated service.

As I said, after experiencing the third party service that I came from....Auctiva is just like a cool drink after a long walk in the desert.

Jeff...<laughing> Yep...ebay with their canned copy and paste answers.

Best Regards for Success in the Future,
Donna

My favorite line is this when others state..If you go to Auctiva because it's free, You'll get what you pay for.

Say What? <scrunched up puzzled look>

I love the service I receive from Auctiva. The day I don't, is the day I walk.

My rebuttal is this...how many of those persons would care to step up to the plate and tell me what free services they use that happen to work great? And just because those are free, do they suck?

Irfanview? Sygate? Panda? RagTag? Rainbow? There are more that were always recommended and bantied about. Great programs and know what? They're free!

Screwed up way of thinking if you ask me. It's alright for them to use a free program and say it's great, but it's not right for me to use a free service that works great for me. <puzzled look again>

They just haven't taken the time to investigate how Auctiva makes it's money or they have read an explanation and can't understand...and ASSume otherwise. (you and I know what happens when persons ASSume)

Time for brats, beer and more!
Happy Memorial Day!

One thing to remember...Auctiva is FREE to its users because it generates its revenue through creative avenues. Meaning, they are making money. Auctiva makes money every time insurance is sold. I'm guessing they generate money via most if not, all of their alliances. Sellathon and so forth. Auctiva users get a so called, 'free' service by offering/selling insurance to their customers. Heck, they even get a .25 kickback from Auctiva every time they do. If Auctiva is able to PAY its users .25 every time insurance is sold, logic would dictate they have a reallyyyyyy low insurance rate / policy.

So, if Auctiva users enjoy a 'free' service, push insurance, try a Sellathon product and so forth. It's really that simple.

shoes Roll Eyes just stick with ebay you will get all the support you need and go with a REAL service that charges an arm & a leg for what Auctiva does for you. I am not with Auctiva very long, but any time I have had a problem or want to find an answer to a question Auctiva community or Auctiva support is there for you. No CANNED answers, individual attention. I have never been with another image hosting company and will NOT go anywhere after reading the horror stores of others. Auctiva has hiccups at times but dont we all. Smile

I said it before and I will say it again. Griping about an excellent free service like this one is, would be about the same thing as me giving you $10 bucks and having you punch me in the mouth after I give it to you.

The auctive team, or as I like to call them (TEAM AUCTIVA) are auction gods and I am not worthy. I almost feel guilty everytime I make a free listing after paying for other services that couldnt hold a candle to auctiva.

Just my 2 cents....I converting over to Auctiva and I'm finding most of the issues I have are of my own doing...ie didn't read the instructions Roll Eyes .....I have put in service requests and have always received a very good response...less than 1 hour typical....others including Ebay either give canned answers, don't respond , or tell you the answer is in their FAQ....not very good service for what you pay for....

Bottom line I think Auctive is better than the one that eat your $$$$....

P.S.
I have friends that use the "V" that I think are going to switch over....why ....Better service thats why....

I was at inkfrog and i switched too because this was better in my opinion and free. I just love Auctiva and if you read instructions and use the search to look for help you might not be posting complaints. It just seems that the people that are posting the complaints don't use half the tools provided to help themselves. didn't mean to offend anybody.

Wouldn't it be funny if it was someone at Auctiva who posted the complaint- just to see what we REALLY think about the program? Big Grin I love Auctiva. I was a bit (probably more than just a bit) leary at first and thinking, "Oh no, I just learned Turbo Lister and now I have to do something new?!", but you are all right- the tech support here couldn't be better, not to mention the Specialists (thanks Magie!) who help you all the time. To say EBAY has service that good...well I do love EBAY but that's stretching it. When I have a problem with EBAY, I go to the Live Chat, and have been given wrong answers plenty of times, but the majority of the answers I get are correct. It's certainly not enough to make me give it up~ Besides, (getting back to Auctiva), why would I shoot myself in the foot? I am paying so much less for my listings than I did before- it's really fantastic, and the templates are AWESOME. Sorry to be so wordy. Wink

jj, I hope you also go to the eBay forums. They're full of great information and knowledgeable sellers (who are likely to know a lot more than many eBay employees, I think). Seller Central is a good one for general questions.

I have done that too Rick, it's usually just that I'm too impatient to wait for the answers! Wink
