I would like to see BidPay added as a payment option to the integrated checkout. If you do not wish to do that then maybe an option for "other payment service" with a window to allow pasting the HTML code provided by the service.

eBay would have to change their site first.

All eBay allows for choices is:

PayPal
Money Order / Cashier's Check
Personal Check
Other / See Item Description
Visa/MasterCard (through merchant acct)
Discover (through merchant acct)
American Express (through merchant acct)

And then they have box for "Payment Instructions" where you can provide details (which is available in auctiva)


Auctiva does have where you can put more info in description area of listing with a header (in addition to the above options). such as:

I've heard they are going to allow BidPay as a payment option on eBay. However there is another level beyond that for being in integrated checkout and that is still up in the air I believe. Since eBay has let us integrate our checkout directly into their site they are very strict about what they allow into it.

I have contacted ebay support about the bidpay issue. Bidpay is now an ebay supported payment. It is listed in their accepted payment options and I got it straight from the horses mouth. Not only that, but according to bidpay support you may use their service for payment of mature audence catagories so long as you don't sell pornography.

Of course, that all depends on whether or not they think any given "mature audiences" item is pornography or not..

When contacting BidPay I asked "can I sell adult toys and allow payment with my bidpay account" their response was "yes you can sell adult items and use bidpay for payment". They did not tell me that I can't sell pornography, but I read that in their terms of use policy and I told them when I asked about toys that I do not sell porn.

I suggest if you have a question about the items you sell just send them an email with a link to your items like I did and ask them. They responded very quickly and were very helpful. Unlike PayPal, who NEVER responded the last time I needed help from them.
