Something is wrong that that frame...........is it me or what?

Please elaborate. Do you mean the amount of time we will be doing maintenance? If so, the point is that the site may be intermittent as we release the code changes and fix any issues that result from the new code being live.

i had to look closer when i read it the first time. i think it's the 12 coming before 11 bit that's messing with peoples minds.

makes sense, though, since most server backups and reboots seem to happen around 12:30am

Please don't think me rude. I do appreciate the alert and hope it all goes well for you, but I've learned from experience. Will there ever be a time when this sort of thing will be implemented during the week instead of at the beginning of the weekend when are all looking forward to the highest traffic and the majority of our sales?????

I was a bit surprised myself to see this being implemented on a Friday. Seems like just asking for trouble.

Well considering we want these changes to be 'LIVE' for eBay Live! next week and we have been working frantically for the last few months to get them done, I think a Friday release is appropriate. Besides, the best time to do a release is right after our normal Thursday night backup.
