Hi bizzy -

If you refer to postal rates, please keep in mind that USPS has recently had rate changes for many of their services. If you are referring to something else, please let us know a bit more about what you refer to and we'll be happy to look into it.

If you believe you are encountering a technical error, please file a support case from under the Help tab of the site letting us know the details of what you are experiencing so we can check into it for you.

Craig, eBay charges 2.60 for 4 ounces to 8 ounces./ You charge 2.68 i know you upcharge to make some profit, understandable for the convenience factor for some sellers. However, 3 ounces or less is 2.54 both retail and on eBay now. You can verify this yourself. Charging 2.68 for a 2.54 package on eBay labels, is a bit much for an upcharge isn't it? 14 cents? per label ?
Hi Bizzy -

We're looking into this. The First Class Package 1 -3 ounce tier is a strange scenario where the USPS Retail Rate is actually less than the USPS Commercial Base rate - not sure why. Generally speaking we use the USPS Commercial Base rates not the retail ones but we may need to make an adjustment for this particular scenario.

Thx,
Chris
Thanks for clarifying, with the recent USPS shipping rate changes we are actively researching the pricing with our shipping label provider. Currently our First class package costs are based on the rate we are charged by our shipping label provider. We currently have a cost savings over retail at the 4+ oz. where retail is $2.74 - $3.54, versus our cost of $2.68.

We do see where the USPS retail rates for 1-3 oz. first class packages are even lower than the USPS posted commercial rates for the same size package, so we are investigating with our shipping label provider to determine why, and if there is something that can be done to receive the more favorable pricing for 1-3 oz. first class packages.
