What does this mean? I've tired at least 5 times to upload this batch, and keep getting this error message. This happens so often I'm disgusted! What the heck is line 0, and how many times should I keep trying before I give up? Would somebody PLEASE respond before I lose another day of work?
Error ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect. Line: 0 Error occured during loading XML file: Please resubmit your batch again.
I have been getting the same Error ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect. Line: 0 Error occured during loading XML file: Please resubmit your batch again.
for over a week now. Please help us fix this!
Also, I CAN'T FILE A SUPPORT REQUEST - it keeps responding with an Application Error.
This is very frustrating - we have no way of reaching the support team!
Please help!!!

Hi Bill - is there a fix for this? I see that alot of people have complained about this problem. My batches were created a few months back, and worked fine. Now I keep getting this error every time I try to upload. I have about 240 items in each batch. I don't use the ebay store category stuff. Is there a workaround for this problem?
Thanks, Sean

Also, Bill - there's a problem when I try to file a support request - it goes to a page that says the following:
Server Error in '/' Application. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
Bill, Its nice to see leadership show up on these boards. I too get this error on a pretty frequent basis. Here's Auctiva's tech support's most recent response to my providing troubleshooting information.
"It is a hit or miss deal it seems I will pass it on!
Thanks Ed"
Not very helpful. Did he pass it on to you?
The case number is 161999. I provided several instances of debugging information and this is all Ed can come up with.
Okay, you have to scratch your head, and wonder who's running the show when you get this kind of response on a 'help' request.
Here's the exchange, so far, word for word, no editing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ phillybelles_art Customer Posted Sunday, June 25, 2006, 7:44:35 PM Steps to Reproduce: Last Sunday I tried to upload one (1) item, and got this error message. This was after downloading the ‘new, improved‘ version. Wish I‘d said NO when it asked if I wanted to upgrade.
Error ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect. Line: 0 Error occured during loading XML file: Please resubmit your batch again.
At that time, I tried to enter a help request but got an error message then, too.
I‘m just trying again.

Mr. Poster Support Posted Sunday, June 25, 2006, 7:47:06 PM Hi Try making the batches smaller or just submit it again. It‘s hit or miss and really seems to not have anything to do with the update. It‘s been iffy since the server move months ago. No one can figure it out. Very strange.
But try small batches. One person made a large batch and it worked. I think it‘s just hit or miss with this personally on if it fails or works
THanks Ed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` phillybelles_art Customer Posted Sunday, June 25, 2006, 7:55:02 PM Uh, Ed? It‘s harder to get smaller than one.
Sheeeeeeeeeeesh.....did you even READ my help request?
I had hoped that the COO would chime in on this thread but I'm not sure who or what's running the place. Clearly customer support must not be getting support otherwise they wouldn't be throwing their hands up in the air the way they are.
Tonight I had to break a batch of 106 items down to 6 batches before I could get them all to take. Somehow their scheduling application, through Mr. Poster, is just not a priority.
Have you seen any of the other services out there? I'm looking into Channel Advisor. I've heard they're pretty good.
Oh good! You're all going to love the lastest 'help' I've been given by the Support Staff:

Just curious.......I'm having deja vu. Has eBay brought this company? This feels exactly like trying to get help from THEM!
Would somebody PLEASE suggest another product like Mr. Poster. I've just about had it.
