I am using version 1.48. I updated yesterday, and was asked again today.
When the update was compleded today, I was unable to start the program and got an error message that the Net Frame was not able to initialize. I had to restore my computer to an earlier system restore poin with XP.
I am able now to run the 1.48, but would like to know if, in fact, today's update requires a different net frame or is it a bug in the download

I updated windows and it didn't fix the ERROR problem with Mr. Poster. Mr. Poster has been a wonderful listing tool and I have many auctions saved in batches--is there a quick fix to this? I need to list on eBay but can't now because of the error. Mary
Hi, I did the windows update (at least I think I chose the correct update) and Mr. Poster icon only gives me the ERROR when I try to open Mr. Poster--gee sure hope I didn't lose all of my batches of auctions I worked on all week. I wish there was a quick fix to this--or is there?

Hi Tom, thanks a million!! I used the link you gave me which is http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1/ (although I had previously upgraded I failed to do the .NET1.1 thing.) It took me about 4 hours to download but it's done now and Mr. poster now works like a dream! Thank you!!!

Thanks SO much, boechler, for pointing this out! I'm running Windows 98 as well, so now I know at least not to update to 1.49 until I get this weekend's auctions posted. I don't really have time for a 4 hour download this weekend to update to NET 1.1, even if it DOES work correctly, as Tom says it will. You've saved me a BUNCH of time!

How does one install an older version of Mr Poster? I downloaded the new one, updated Framework but I still get the msg that mscorwks.dll could not be loaded. Now I have a version of Mr P that I cannot use. Any suggestions?

OK last Friday I had a little bit of time on my hands and dorked around on the MS website downloading every version of Net Frame 1.1 I could find. Thank God for high speed.
The one that works with Windows 98 version 1 is dotnetfx.exe.
I installed it and everything;s back to normal.
One question tho, purely a matter of curiosity- I deleted 1.49, installed the build and downloaded 1.49 over it again in the course of my screwing around.
All my templates and were still there- how could this be if I deleted the 1.48????
I deleted the old program and down loaded the program once again and I'm completely out of business as it still won't function at all!! I think Tom needs to get his head out of the sand and fire the new programer and get involved in the programing problems. I have no choice, but to go to eBay and try their Mr. Lister, maybe others should do the same. Tom must be the owner of this site and doesn't give a rats butt about us!!???

While having problems with Mr. Poster 1.68 being unable to submit batch to ebay, was adviced to download and install 1.1 .NET framework to correct the problem. But I am still unable to submit my batches to Ebay. Instead I get error message: "Could not open batch because Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
