Just tried to schedule a dozen items for tonight and got this, now all too familiar, ERROR message!
Error
ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect. Line: 0 Error occured during loading XML file: Please resubmit your batch again. .
Now what?
As soon as I opened the program it 'updated.' I'm using version 1.70, have regenerated my Authentication token, and all my settings are correct. I checked for new categories, and there were none.
Would someone from Auctiva PLEASE tell me how to correct this problem? (I've already done all the 'usual' things. (Regenerated my Authentication token, updated the categories, and am using 1.70. I also downloaded some Service Pack from Microsoft that Auctiva recommended the last time this happened, and that didn't change a thing.
No reply to my 'support request' as of today. I have tried half a dozen times to schedule this batch of items and am still getting the same error message.
I know no one is listening because no one ever answers my posts here, but I'm going to keep posting. Maybe someone from the 'outside' will come along and tell me how to fix this obnoxious, and continuous, problem.
They don't respond to support requests, so you're wasting your time creating them.
As far as I've been able to tell, the error message occurs when either auctiva's servers or ebay's servers are busy.
Some people have thought the message is related to batch size because small batches may go through while large ones don't, but I think large batches only increase the likelihood of hitting the glitch because they take longer to be serviced.
So, keep trying to submit the batch and it should go through eventually.
I'd suggest investigating other posting services.
That's what I'm doing since auctiva won't support their products.

This will be my last post. I canceled my contract with Auctiva, and will be searching for a more reliable program.
I got a response to my 'support request' which had be uninstall my previous version of Mr. Poster, and reinstall it from a link they provided.
I updated that one to 1.70, as instructed, and was able to post ONE test item. However, when I tried to actually post a small batch of real items (15 items) I got the same error message again.
When I reported this to 'support' they said I should 'break my batch into smaller numbers like 2 or 3 at a time.'
Here's what I posted to John (poor guy.....sure wouldn't want to have HIS job):
"John, as I said........a ‘bulk listing‘ program is useless if you have to post items in ones, or even threes.
I appreciate your help, but I‘ve already canceled my contract with Auctiva. I have to have a reliable program, and that was once Mr. Poster. It just isn‘t anymore.
I hope to hear you guys have gotten your act together someday. I‘d be willing to come back if you ever get back to the same reliability you had when I first signed on.....many years ago.
