I tried to submit 2 batches at 7 AM EST.

The first submitted fine. The second has the following error:

Error
ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect.
Line: 0
Error occured during loading XML!
Please resubmit your batch again.

I've resubmitted several times over the last couple of hours and keep getting the same error message.

Any idea what's causing it or when it will be fixed?

I'm having the same problem, with only 3 items!
This is a repeat of the same problems plaguing us for the last several weeks.

This is becoming a nightmare. Would someone please respond?

Thanks

the xml problem has been around for awhile. it happens when auctiva's posting tool can not connect to eBay because eBay is overloaded at that particular moment in time.
steps to resolve: close mr. poster and restart.
if the issue continues then close everything and restart your computer. It normally will go away for awhile once you do the above. Just keep restarting the program or your computer when it happens...auctiva has been aware of this for over a year and still has not figured out the why? pretty sure issue is with eBay tho....

Sounds like you may be correct. When I filed a support request, the tech said to turn off all fire walls and virus protection, and perhaps that was the problem. I did that and it did not work. I will give your porposed solution a try.

Hi,

If this happens to any of you again, can you make sure to copy the exact error message into the boards here. I've added some extra info that will hopefully help us figure out why this is happening.

Hi Kevin,
I've had an open 'support case' since May 12th, (Support Case - 158114) and no one seems to have a solution. I keep being told 'the engineers are working on it, and we'll get back to you.' Then no one does, and I get a message saying 'You haven't responded, so we're going to delete the ticket' so I have to go in and say...."I'm waiting on YOU!"

I'd respond if there were something to respond to!

My primary problem is that no matter how many items I have in a batch, when I schedule them, all will post but one! Large batch, or small batch, one item won't post, and there's a different error message each time. What's really goofy is that afterwards, I can post that one item without making a single change, and it goes through just fine.

I had three separate batches with 3 items in each. All three times 2 posted, one didn't.

Here's one error message, and this item was done with a template...same as the other two:
Error in Listing
Error Code: 10019
Error Message: You specified inconsistent Shipping parameters: <ShippingHandlingCosts>=NULL and <ShippingType>=FLAT_RATE

Then, on my Auctiva batch page, next to one of the items that didn't post, there was this message:

Auctiva Server Error - General
Error Code: Exception
Error Message: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Auctiva.SWServices.AuctivaPoster.v5.AuctivaPostPage.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)

Sure hope someone gets this fixed soon.

Thanks for checking in with us. I was beginning to think we were alone in here.

Thanks for posting the new error message. Hopefully that will help me figure out what's happening.

It's strange that only 1 item is failing out of your batch. Is it the last item in the batch that is failing each time?

If it is always the last one, does it sometimes post and othertimes fails? Or always fail?

Thanks,

-Kevin

Hi Kevin,
The first two times it was the last item.
The last time it was the middle one.

Here's the fun part. I had two large batches to schedule (this was before the middle one dropped out) so I put a 'test' item at the end of both batches, expecting them not to post. (Reverse phychology on a computer...lol)

But all the items posted and I had to go delete the two 'tests.'

That's when I thought it was working correctly, posted the small batch of 3, and it fooled me by dropping out the middle item.

I've started calling my Mr. Poster 'HAL.'

Thanks for trying to help.

phillybelle,

We found something that may have been causing this and have made the fix. We'll see if that helps. It had to do with threading and compatibility levels of eBay's API. Hmm... that probably doesn't say much, but the full explination probably wouldn't help much either.

Anyway, let me know how things are going.

Hi Kevin,
It may be awhile before I can test it again.
I listed 6 items Wednesday night but hit submit now instead of 'schedule' and they all went through perfectly.

I'll check in when I do another big batch with a 'scheduled date/time.'

Thanks for the update. I'll have my fingers crossed for both of us. I know this is hard on ya'll, too.

ALERT! The following error occured: The parameter is incorrect.

Error occured during loading XML file:
Please resubmit your batch again. .
This is my error message.
I was getting this message everytime I tried to upload a batch until about two weeks ago. I have not had any trouble.

Now this evening it's back, it took 35 minutes and numerous times of resubmiting to get 4 items listed.
I am sending them to start right away not scheduled.
Hope this might help.
Thanks
