same problem with me...MP allowed me to select the main category & 3 sub-categories but the 4th sub-category had no info, it was blank...filed a support case thursday...tried 2 remedies and neither worked...support told me to wait till IT returns from the holiday weekend...as of 3PM eastern time no word....cheers

I had a similar problem this weekend. I uninstalled Mr Poster and re-installed it. It solved the problem.

I apologize for the very long delay with this, but this issue has now been resolved. Please download version 1.67 of Mr Poster in order to work with the latest category update from eBay. Thank you.

David, no it does not work. I have version 1.68 and the categories are NOT uploading at all. Today is Dec. 8th. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and done all the Token stuff to no avail. Tonight was my regular listing night. Can't do it now because the categories won't update. Gee whiz. Is there an answer out there for this otherwise super duper program??
Hi, I did the windows update (at least I think I chose the correct update) and Mr. Poster icon only gives me the ERROR when I try to open Mr. Poster--gee sure hope I didn't lose all of my batches of auctions I worked on all week. I wish there was a quick fix to this--or is there?

Hello David, The 1.67 version wouldn't work for us either yesterday. I had to restore my comp. back to the 1.66 version (which worked). Let us know when you have a new version that will work. thanks---Fishone

fishone - version 1.68 works, just make sure you update both your Mr Poster version and then the Ebay Categories. Although version 1.67 did fix the category problem, there was an issue with posting batches. 1.68 fixes both problems. kerrynmary - You shouldn't lose your auctions as they are stored in seperate files. If you ever worried about that you can always back them up before making changes to Mr. Poster by copying the "Batches" directory from the Mr Poster directory to a different location. I'm not sure how a windows update could mess up the Mr Poster install though  . Hi, after several attempts through yesterday and today we finally got it to work and load the ebay category updates. The first time yesterday when it let me know that I needed to update the latest version, I went through the motions and all was well. When I went to submit my auctions from Mr. Poster to eBay last night I got BOINKED and it told me that the categories were unable to be verified or something to that sort and the computer would freeze, I had to restart. Did this several times. Then I reinstalled Mr. Poster to no avail. Did the reinstall 3 times, no luck. Today I also tried to reinstall and all had the same affect. Finally tonight I did the reinstall and it gave me the 1.68 version back and all auctions were there and I was able to submit to eBay. What a relief. Don't know why it worked this time but thankfully it did! Keep trying is about all the advice I can give anyone who is encountering this problem. Mary
