Hello Community,

This morning, we have updated the Auctiva site. Here's a summary of what this morning's update contained.

Several listing enhancements are being discontinued by eBay effective October 1, 20098. They include Gift Services, Border, Highlight, Featured Plus, Home Page Featured, Pro Pack as of October 1, 2009. Featured First will only be avail. to Top-rated sellers. These changes will become effective on the Auctiva site on October 1.

eBay is beginning to enforce a requirement that a BIN (Buy It Now) price be at least 10% greater than the auction start price effective October 1. This change will be take effect on the Auctiva site on October 1.

eBay's new selling practices policy has mandated that while sellers may still insure their shipments, insurance may no longer be offered to buyers as an optional or required add-on to their listings. We have updated our site to handle these changes--including Auctiva Checkout--and also to activate our new Auto Purchase rules for shipping insurance that we began accepting signups for a couple of weeks ago. Please note that users who set up their Auto Purchase rules to purchase insurance will receive a 20% discount off our already low price (normally about 30% less than the same coverage purchased through USPS.) Also please note that eBay Australia and eBay Germany still allow insurance to be specified as a listing option, so we have not changed the way we were handling insurance for those sites.

eBay Australia no longer supports the Store item listing format; we have updated Auctiva to be in synch with this policy.

We have made some formatting changes to the 'My Invoices' page to improve readability and usefulness to our users.

Also, we have added an FAQ that explains the packing list print function we added to the site a couple of weeks back.

On the seller dashboard page (account/overview aspx), users who have open support cases will now be able to see a list of their support cases.

At this time, it looks like the Auctiva site is up, running, and stable with today's updates in place. Our engineers are monitoring the site closely and will be for several hours so we can react swiftly if any glitches do turn up.
