Staten Island Ferry is cool and it's free. If you went after 10am I bet there would not ba a big crowd. Take it to staten island an back. Then you can walk to China Town and Little Italy for lunch. Take it from there. The South Street Seaport is also cool there are lots of bigh ships the kids will love it I know I do. and thats all down town.
