Hello Kippona,

I am sorry to hear about the difficulty with the image uploader app.  We are not aware of any issues on our end that would cause the issue you have described; the app is working for me on a different Android device so it sounds like we're going to need to have a look into it further.  

Please file a support case from under the Help tab of the site with the details as you have described them here and any other information about your device or your experience that may be relevant so we can look into this for you.
