I have done some mild research on your question because it intrigued me. After talking with some sellers at eBay chat and doing some searches online, no one seems to have heard that eBay is going to do such a thing.

Where did you hear this? Is there a link to the source? I would love to read something about it.

I know eBay is doing some extreme things now, but that would be pretty hardcore.
